Programs

Since 2008, the Fitness Institute of Texas has offered several programs for the public and UT’s own faculty, staff, and student population. The aim of these programs is to improve the health of those we serve through realistic nutrition guidance, increased physical activity, and behavior change.

FIT to Eat
12-week nutrition focused education class for individuals interested in improving their nutrition
FIT to the Core
4-week class focused on preventive behaviors and exercises to reduce low back pain.
FIT Mind & Body
Six week program that focuses on stress and anxiety reduction through exercise.
