Dr. Schwartz has written more than 400 journal articles and three books, including the Handbook of Identity Theory and Research and the Oxford Handbook of Acculturation and Health. He has also received multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other funding agencies, which have helped us better understand acculturation, cultural stress, crisis migration, and their effects on family relationships, mental health, substance use, and other forms of adaptation.
