Dynamic Innovation for Young Children (DIFYC)

The Dynamic Innovation for Young Children professional development is a partnership between the San Antonio Independent School Distract and the Agency and Young Children Research Collective at the University of Texas at Austin that supports teachers and administrators to reimagine their approach to early childhood education. Participants in DIFYC develop a shared understanding of high quality learning environments and engage with a core set of concepts. They reflect and design transformative decision-making plans and create stronger professional identities as early childhood educators.


San Antonio Independent School District Early Childhood Education Professional Development Series

The San Antonio Independent School District Early Childhood Education Professional Development Series is a series of professional development workshops led by the Agency and Young Children Research Collective and conducted with SAISD school administrators, teachers, instructional assistants, and instructional coaches around issues of agency, learning and racial inequities in early childhood preK-3rd grade classrooms.


American Indian College Fund Video-Cued Ethnography Training

The American Indian College Fund Video-cued Ethnography Training is a two day training in the multivocal video-cued ethnography method led by the Agency and Young Children Research Collective. The purpose of the training is to support educators in indigenous communities to create their own professional development videos that reflect traditional practices and educational values.
