Raising Money to Buy School Supplies for Hurricane Katrina Evacuees in Austin

For three days in September, the Delta chapter accepted donations to aid Hurricane Katrina evacuees enrolled in AustinISD schools. The new students, who fled to Austin during the storm, were in need of basic school supplies to help them in their new classrooms. The chapter raised $350 to donate to the fund.
