The Healing Stories Collection<\/em><\/strong> is a public storytelling initiative designed to share the lived experiences of survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV), as well as the perspectives of advocates, clinicians, and researchers dedicated to preventing violence. The main goal of the project is to offer hope to other survivors and their loved ones by sharing powerful stories of strength, resilience, and survival, while helping people better see and understand what survivors carry and overcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team of researchers, students, cross-cultural experts, and survivors works to create an environment where people from diverse backgrounds can share their experiences in a way that feels safe, respectful, and genuine. Through these one-on-one interviews, we hope that people from all walks of life will be moved by these inspirational accounts of courage. This may embolden other survivors to share their stories and take steps toward healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
