Schwartz, the Culture Family and Health Lab studies how identity, culture, and family processes influence psychological well-being. Much of our work focuses on immigrant populations, especially crisis migrant populations such as Venezuelans fleeing the Maduro government, Ukrainians escaping the Russian invasion, and Puerto Rican survivors of Hurricane Maria who relocated to the U.S. mainland.
