Each individual consultation includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluation of your current food intake<\/li>\n<li>Calorie and nutrient recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Meal planning and menu development<\/li>\n<li>Strategies for dietary lifestyle change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nutrition counseling is beneficial for a variety of needs, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weight loss<\/li>\n<li>Sport specific (endurance, strength, and competitive)<\/li>\n<li>General health and well being<\/li>\n<li>Specific health and dietary concerns: vegetarian or vegan diet planning, celiac disease, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Preventing or managing chronic disease, such high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nutrition misinformation floods the media and can be intimidating and overwhelming. Our Registered Dietitian, who is required to stay up to date on the latest nutrition information, is always prepared to provide you with the most cutting edge techniques and scientifically sound nutrition information. In preparation for your appointment, you will be asked to complete a 3 day dietary recall to bring for our dietitian to review.
